Special Inks & Other Effects

• High-build Varnish
Utilises screen-printing to create a clear or gloss ‘raised-surface’ finish – not only for visual appeal, but also for functional Braille print requirements. Used to convey safety warnings, but predominantly for creating maximum visual appeal for decorative labels.

• Scratch-off Ink
Available for incorporating screen-printed ‘scratch-off’ panels in virtually any promotional label construction for prize-winning competitions.

• Thermal Chromic Inks
A relatively new concept for the food and beverages industries, thermal chromic inks display particular colours only when exposed to specific temperatures.

• Fragrance
Using similar methods as for the above options, panels containing fragrance can be printed in a variety of label formats – for either cosmetic ‘sampling’ or novelty applications.
